Quite alot has happened to me since my last post. 

Over the past month I have decided that it would be good to accept the internship offer in tennessee.  My first day will be August 29th and hopefully my security clearance will be in before its over in december.  The pay is impressive by normal people standards but less so by my artificially high standards.  ( I have to pay for my own apartment? gasp) I will return to school in the spring to finishi up my degree and begin to work in oak ridge in may or june.  The internship should give me a significant responsibility and pay jump when i take my permenant position. 

Last thursday, somebody stole my wisdom teeth.  Bone had to be grinded from my jaw in order to the bottom teeth out.  I cannot describe the pain.  Especially since I decided that I will not be on the pain meds any longet than absolutly necessary.  Keep in mind that the hydrocodone perscription left a significant amount of pain after a 2 pill dose on thursday night and friday morning. 

With some of the moeny I make at my internsihip, I want to plan a vacation.  I have not had a vacation in years and it would be great to plan a big one before school starts again.  One possibility is Europe because mostly of the time ti takes to get ther.  Such a trip would be interesting and alot of fun.  My other idea is a sort of driving trip somewhere in the US.  Perhaps camping and hiking or even good old site seeing.  This second option is great because i can add an extra vacationer for little or nothing and I have some company on the long trip.
